Grimm
Joe Grimm of the Detroit Free Press and blogger of the News Jobs Cafe, was surprised by friends and colleagues as they chanted "Joe" and wished him a public goodbye. Since he really likes cookies, fortune cookies were passed around and Joe's fortune listed his buyout date: 08/08/08. Now that he has accepted that financial safety net, Joe said he's looking forward to having the time to work on something new.
