Congrats on the undergade degre..classes here are fantastic..we have state of the art equipment
i call our studio control room the spaceship enterprise..and my office is more equipped than any network office in which i have worked..

as for classes small ..very hands on..have you been to our website..our program I think is the best out there..granted I am bias..but i have taught at Columbia and NYU J schools as well as aroound the world and the CUNY program is the future..
masters candidates have both a subject tract- Business, Health/Medicine, International,Urban or Arts/Culture from which to choose and as well as a media tract- Print, broadcast or Interactive.
All student are instructed in the use of a video camera, marantz audio recorder, finalcut pro and editing. The core courses include craft (reporting and writing),introduction to interactive as well as writing for broadcast. Each subject course has a requirement of at least two assignmments to be done outside your media concentration.
we also have a internet News Service (there's a link of our main page) on which student work
is posted. It is free to any news organization with the requirement that the student get a byline
Our pieces have been picked up not just here in Us but abroad.
In addition all are required to do a summer internship after the second semester (if unpaid
the school provides a stipends to help )Our interns are at the major networks, newspaper and magazines..we also have several interning international..one in London one in Chile..one in Nigeria and one in the Dominican Republic.

It is nice meeting you, too. I recently graduated with a Broadcasting Journalism Degree and I am very interested in going to a graduate school. What are the classes like at CUNY?

P.S. Is the person who shares the same last name as mine Japanese?
